3. If you’ve been in a wreck in one, did the safety features substantially assist you?

5. When it’s needed service, has the dealer been right there for you, or have you felt put off?

We are seriously looking at the Rondo and may buy one as soon as today – but I figured I’d come here after my many hours of internet searching to get some answers from actual owners! Thanks!

yes. ive never had any problems with it. just regular oil changes

yes in a heartbeat

the dealer has always been there for me. they give me recular discounts for servicing it ther and theyre very friendly

First and foremost, how reliable are Kias in general? I don’t know anyone who has owned one so this is a big concern. Secondly, how well do they run in Winter? I live in Toronto so snow can be a pain. Has anyone tried driving in a couple inches of snow? How deep does the snow have to be before getting stuck? Right now I’m looking at the Spectra5, Sportage and Rondo.

wil get you a check list to look for problems work s with any car so you dont buy a car that needs work before you get it
and type consumer reports auto kia Spectra 5, Sportage and or Rondo. and can see what other say about car or its problems type kia problems

that would depend on the milage and condition but if both are average for a 2002 that is an ok deal assuming the car runs well and isnt a rust bucket

2. If you have complaints, are they major or just small annoyances?

3. Is the gas mileage really as excellent as Dodge’s website claims?

4. How long have you owned it?

5. Any service issues?

I think we’re down to deciding between the Caliper and the Kia Rondo – but the Caliper is substantially less expensive (and we don’t really *need* the third row seat, I just kinda like it). Thanks in advance

my son just bought one 3 months ago and he just loves it, he says the mileage is great, hasn’t had any service issues yet. i just bought a new dodge charger and its great to, pretty good mileage n no service issues yet!!good luck with whatever you decide to buy.

The 2011 Sorento has an optional third-row seat on the LX and EX models. It’s standard on the EX V6, not available on the base version. The 2011, which goes on sale next month (January 2010), is the first Sorento with an available third row.

I drive a kia sportage suv and this car really sucks. The car has alot of problems that I had to get it repair all the time. For example, the door won’t open, windows won’t go down, steering wheel shakes, brake pads got worn out and it makes a funny sound when you drive. I had enough driving this car that I would like to trade it in to buy a Toyota Rava 4 instead. I won’t ever buy a Kia car again or a car that is made in Korean because it is a cheap piece of junk. Don’t you agree with me?

did you get that sportage used?? Ive rode in two of the kia sportage and they were right and tight, the Rav4 though is definatly much better, I mean think about it Kia vs Toyota obvouisly we all know kia is a 2nd rate car compared to a toyota

I currently have a truck and thinking of trading it in for a more gas efficient vehicle.

I am a Surfer and transport Surfboard to and from the Beach often so I will be installing a roof rack.

Are there any 7 passenger cars out there? I know there’s the Kia Rondo. What are some other ones? I need something that I can commute in and fit the whole fam damily in, without paying an arm and leg in gas (minivans out).

Check out the compact SUVs. They are built on sedan car bases. I’ve been looking at the Toyota RAV4… 27 MPG, Optional 3rd row seating, Great Ratings! There is also the Subaru Tribeca, Honda Pilot, Subaru Forester, and my mom just got the re-designed 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander with third row seating and I love it.
